Crispy baked chicken wings tossed in a zesty lemon pepper butter glaze. A savory, family-friendly appetizer with balanced citrus, garlic, and pepper flavors.
Ingredients
Chicken Wings (2 lbs, split into drumettes and flat bones)
Lemon Pepper Seasoning (2 tbsp, contains cracked black pepper)
Unsalted Butter (2 tbsp)
Garlic Powder (1 tsp)
Olive Oil (1 tbsp)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 425°F. Place a wire rack on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Rinse chicken wings and pat dry.
Sprinkle 1 tsp salt and ½ tsp pepper over wings.
Mix olive oil with 1½ tbsp lemon pepper seasoning. Brush onto wings.
Arrange wings skin-side up on rack. Bake 25 minutes, then flip and bake 20 minutes.
Melt 2 tbsp butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Add remaining ½ tbsp lemon pepper and 1 tsp garlic powder. Stir until smooth.
Toss baked wings in butter glaze until coated.
Notes
Use clarified butter for higher heat resistance
Serve with coleslaw or pineapple chunks for balance
