Ingredients
Boneless skinless chicken breasts (2 lbs)
Kosher salt (1 tsp)
Garlic (3-4 cloves, minced)
Grated Parmesan cheese (1 cup)
Heavy cream (1 cup)
Unsalted butter (1 tbsp, optional)
Olive oil (2 tbsp)
Lemon juice (1 tsp, optional)
Instructions
Pat chicken dry and season with salt
In crockpot, add oil to coat bottom
Add garlic cloves and cook low for 6 hours
After 5 hours 40 minutes, remove chicken
Stir crushed garlic into pot
Mix heavy cream into crockpot
Add lemon juice (optional)
Return chicken to pot for final 20 minutes
Notes
Substitute chicken thighs for richer flavor
Use pecorino or nutritional yeast as Parmesan alternatives
Vegan option: coconut cream + agar-agar
Use vegan butter if avoiding dairy
