Ingredients
2 lbs (900g) shredded chicken
1/3 cup BBQ sauce
1/4 cup ranch dressing
12 mini slider buns
1/2 cup pineapple chunks (optional)
1 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp smoked paprika
1 tbsp chopped green onions
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Dice chicken into fine shreds
Mix BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, garlic, and smoked paprika
Heat chicken in skillet with half the sauce 10 minutes
Toast buns briefly
Spoon chicken into buns with remaining sauce, green onions, and pineapple
Press mixture tightly into each bun
Notes
Taste sauce mixture before assembly to adjust sweetness/spice
Use room-temperature buns to prevent squishing
Try brioche or pretzel buns for added texture
Store leftovers refrigerated up to 2 days
