Instructions
Cut off chicken skin into small pieces and reserve
Whisk oil, garlic powder, 2 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp vinegar, and pepper flakes in bowl
Pat chicken dry and toss with marinade
Heat cast iron skillet over medium-high until hot
Add chicken flesh-first in single layer and cook 4 minutes
Press reserved chicken skin into fat and cook until browned (1 min)
Return chicken skin to pan and turn thighs
Spoon remaining marinade over tops
Cook 2 minutes uncovered stirring occasionally
Reduce heat to low and simmer 5 minutes
Add remaining honey and 1 tbsp vinegar to glossy sauce
