Description

Crispy baked Parmesan Ranch Chicken Tenders made with tender chicken strips coated in a bold parmesan-ranch seasoning mix. Perfect for quick dinners, this easy recipe offers a lighter crunch and wholesome flavor without deep-frying.

Ingredients

Chicken thighs (cut into 4 oz strips), 4 strips
Grated parmesan, 1 cup
Breadcrumbs, 1 cup
Ranch seasoning blend, 1 tbsp
Egg white, 1 large
Oil spray, as needed

Instructions

Prepare a dredging station with three shallow bowls: one for the egg white, one for the breadcrumb and parmesan mixture, and one for the ranch seasoning blend
Dip each chicken strip into the egg white, then into the breadcrumb and parmesan mixture, and finish with the ranch seasoning blend
Spray each coated chicken tender lightly with oil spray
Chill the chicken tenders in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to ensure maximum crispiness
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C)
Arrange the chicken tenders on a baking sheet with at least one inch of space between them
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 2 minutes to start crisping the breading
Continue baking for 23 minutes, flipping the chicken tenders halfway through for even cooking and browning
Move the rack one inch above the baking sheet during the last 2 minutes for a darker, crispy finish
Remove from the oven when the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C)

Notes

For extra flavor, you can add fresh minced garlic to the ranch seasoning
Use gluten-free breadcrumbs for a gluten-free alternative
Chicken breasts can be used instead of thighs if preferred
Ensure the chicken strips are not overcrowded on the baking sheet to maintain crispiness
