Ingredients
4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets, preferably wild-caught
3 tablespoons honey, preferably raw
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 tablespoons orange juice (or lemon juice as substitute)
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (or balsamic vinegar as substitute)
Olive oil, for brushing
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)
Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper
Lightly brush the parchment paper with olive oil
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, orange juice, and vinegar
Taste and adjust sweetness or salt balance as needed
Set 1 tablespoon of the glaze aside for the final baste
Place salmon fillets on the prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart
Brush 2/3 of the glaze evenly over the top and sides of the fillets
Bake for 15 minutes
Baste the fillets with the remaining glaze
Return to the oven and bake 3-5 minutes until glaze is bubbly and caramelized
Let rest for 5 minutes before serving
