Description

Ingredients

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (6 oz each, thick-cut)
2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (for marinating and grilling)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon fresh thyme (or ½ teaspoon dried)
Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions

Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels to ensure proper searing.
Combine olive oil, garlic, and thyme in a shallow dish. Add chicken and flip to coat evenly.
Season with salt and pepper. Let marinate 10-15 minutes at room temperature.
Preheat grill to high heat (400-450°F) and oil grates with a paper towel dipped in olive oil.
Place chicken on the grill. Cook 6-7 minutes per side until golden grill marks form and internal temperature reaches 165°F.
Transfer to a cutting board. Let rest 5 minutes before slicing to retain juices.
