Description

This creamy and rich chicken spaghetti with Velveeta combines tender chicken, al dente pasta, and a smooth, velvety cheese sauce for a 45-minute comfort meal ideal for weeknights or gatherings. The dish is easy to make and bursting with flavor.


Ingredients

Velveeta Cheese – 1 block (8 oz), Chicken Breast – 2 (4 oz each), Spaghetti – 8 oz, Garlic – 3 cloves, Onion – 1 small, Butter – 2 tbsp, Milk – 1 cup, Salt – 1 tsp, Pepper – ½ tsp


Instructions

Boil 3-4 quarts of water in a large pot. Add 1 tsp salt and spaghetti. Cook 7-8 minutes until al dente.
Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain pasta.
Heat butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add garlic and onion, sauté 3 minutes until fragrant.
Add chicken pieces and cook 5-7 minutes until golden.
Add shredded Velveeta to the skillet with chicken, stirring until melted and smooth. Add milk gradually to create a creamy sauce.
Stir in cooked pasta and toss until well combined. Add reserved pasta water as needed to create a silky consistency.
Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.


Notes

For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with olive oil and use a non-dairy cheese alternative.
Increase garlic amount if using powder.
For a richer sauce, substitute milk with half-and-half.
Shredded Velveeta melts more evenly than pre-shredded versions. Substitute with mozzarella or provolone for a similar texture.
