Description

This Chicken Salad Chick recipe is creamy, fresh, and irresistibly delicious just like the classic Southern favorite. It’s quick to make and perfect for lunches, picnics, or light dinners.

Ingredients

Scale

3 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded or finely chopped

½ cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon finely diced celery

1 tablespoon finely diced onion

1 teaspoon lemon juice

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

Fresh parsley or dill for garnish (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chicken, mayonnaise, celery, and onion.

2. Add lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Mix until all ingredients are evenly coated.

4. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.

5. Chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.

6. Serve with crackers, on a sandwich, or over greens.

Notes

Use rotisserie or poached chicken for easy prep.

For a lighter version, substitute half the mayonnaise with Greek yogurt.

Add chopped grapes or pecans for a twist on the classic.

Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days in the fridge.
