Description
A simple, easy Chicken Caesar Sandwich with moist, crispy chicken, creamy Caesar dressing, and toasted garlic bread.
Ingredients
2 boneless skinless chicken breasts (halved lengthwise)
1 egg + 2 tbsp milk
1/2 cup breadcrumbs + 1/2 cup panko
2 tbsp mayo
2–3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 cup grated Parmesan
3 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
4 hoagie rolls or baguette halves
4 tbsp Caesar dressing
Instructions
1. Whisk egg, milk, and seasonings together.
2. Dip chicken into egg mixture, coat in breadcrumbs and panko.
3. Pan-fry chicken in shallow oil for 5 minutes per side until golden.
4. Mix garlic butter (butter, mayo, garlic, parsley, Parmesan) and toast bread halves under broiler for 3–4 minutes.
5. Toss romaine lettuce with Caesar dressing.
6. Assemble sandwich with chicken, lettuce, and Parmesan.
7. Serve immediately while warm for best flavor.
Notes
Serve fresh for the best crunch. Store components separately up to 24 hours. Reassemble before serving.
