Description
A hearty, golden-baked dip combining tender buffalo chicken, creamy ranch dressing, and melted sharp cheddar cheese. Perfect for scooping with tortilla chips or spreading on crackers.
Ingredients
2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
1 cup ranch dressing (store-bought or homemade)
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/2 cup buffalo sauce
2 tablespoons sliced green onions (scallions)
Olive oil
Salt, pepper, ranch seasoning (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9-inch baking dish
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and ranch seasoning. Cook in olive oil until fully cooked, then shred into bite-sized pieces
In a bowl, combine shredded chicken, ranch dressing, and buffalo sauce, stirring until well-coated
Transfer mixture to the baking dish and top evenly with shredded cheddar cheese
Bake for 25 minutes until golden and bubbly
Cool for 5 minutes, then sprinkle green onions before serving
Notes
Use rotisserie chicken for convenience
Full-fat ranch dressing yields a creamier texture
Avoid pre-shredded cheese for even melting
Adjust buffalo sauce quantity to taste
Best served warm with tortilla chips or fresh vegetables
